Program Description:

Brazilian Studies & Portuguese Language in São Paulo

This program is for challenge-seeking students who want to understand Brazil’s many sides. The basic curriculum is a combination of Portuguese language courses and electives taught in English, but intermediate and advanced students may opt for full immersion by taking direct enroll courses in Portuguese alongside Brazilian peers. Excursions and volunteer opportunities provide insider’s access, allowing students to engage with Brazilian society as actors, not spectators. The program is open to students of all Portuguese language levels.

Study Abroad in São Paulo, Brazil: Features

  • Portuguese language courses, including Portuguese for Spanish Speakers, cover at least one year of university-level Portuguese language each term
