Intensive Language and Cultural Studies in Catania, Sicily Intensive language and cultural immersion for intermediate and advanced learners of Italian
Intensive Language and Cultural Studies in Sicily is
CET's newest program in Italy. Students will immerse themselves in Italian
language and experience a side of Italy most tourists never get to see. The bustling
city of Catania becomes the students' classroom--language practica require that
students put their new language skills to use in real situations, and a History and
Culture of Sicily course takes students on day trips and a Traveling Seminar. All courses are taught in Italian. However, the capstone course, History and Culture of Sicily, may be taught in English for students with fewer than four semesters of Italian. The program is open to students with at least
two previous semesters of Italian language study.
