We invite you to participate in our exciting History of Art & Italian Studies program in Siena. A medieval city located just south of Florence, and off-the-beaten-path from many other American study abroad programs, Siena offers an ideal location from which to view Italy's rich artistic and cultural legacy. You will not only be surrounded by beautiful art resources, you will also be uniquely immersed in contemporary Tuscan life. A variety of challenging courses takes you out of the classroom and into the streets and museums of Siena, and a traveling seminar takes you to more distant cities. Enrolling a smaller group of serious students, this program offers an alternative to many of the larger programs in Florence. With its special focus on the history of art and Italian studies, it also offers a unique lens through which to view Italy's inspiring history and culture.
